Hardening – results through experience.

As a contract manufacturer in the heat treatment sector, we have over 60 years of experience in mechanical and plant engineering. Our customers value our expertise, our reliability and our precise results. Advice, flexibility, quality awareness and adherence to deadlines are among our top priorities – values that are particularly appreciated by our long-standing regular customers.

The experience of our master craftsmen and specialists is complemented by regular further training in heat treatment. This means that we are always available to our customers as technology consultants and problem solvers. Due to the demands of manufacturing our own products, we have specialized in individual and small series production. However, with our modern heat treatment line, we are also able to process larger quantities. Charging can be flexibly designed – from larger components to delicate workpieces that have to withstand high loads. Your workpiece gets exactly the attention it deserves.

Advantages of hardening with nail

A particular advantage of our system is the flexibility of its heat treatment processes and the salt bath quenching – it ensures significantly less distortion than conventional oil bath processes and thus noticeably reduces the downstream straightening work required, if any at all.

Dimensional accuracy is also significantly improved.
Our customers also benefit from uncomplicated processing, short response times and attractive conditions, even for small quantities.

Services

  • Batch size up to Ø700 mm / 1,000 mm length – for maximum flexibility
  • Batch weight up to 500 kg
  • Quenching in a warm salt bath – for uniform quenching resulting in better dimensional stability with significantly less distortion.
  • Case hardening (CHD/EHT) 0.1 mm to 1.5 mm – for high surface hardness, wear-resistant surface layer and a tough core
  • Carbonitriding (CHD/EHT) up to 0.5 mm – for particularly resistant surface layers through the enrichment of nitrogen.
  • Carburizing (CD/At) up to 1.5 mm – recommended for components with a high case-hardening depth and the highest demands.
  • Hardening and tempering up to 960 °C – for an optimum combination of hardness and toughness
  • Stress-relief annealing up to 650 °C – for stable, low-stress workpieces
  • Tempering up to 650 °C – for perfect coordination of hardness and elasticity
  • Hardness tests according to Vickers / Rockwell / Brinell
  • Standard-compliant determination of the hardening depth of test pieces

Competence from a full-service provider!

As a full-service provider, we also take on upstream and downstream process steps such as grinding, honing, eroding, turning, milling, straightening or sandblasting on request – all from a single source. Even small businesses or 1-5-man companies will find the right solution with us, personal Service.
